This position reports to

Production Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

Conducts all types of assembly work to produce a semi-finished or final product, including the packing where integrated with production lines. Follow methods and drawing information required to assemble circuit breakers, panels relays/switches/electronic assemblies and other products. Support quality manufacturing goals, productivity, and on-time shipment goals. Maintain tools, equipment and working area in a clean and orderly condition. Follow standard practices and procedures in resolving basic and complex problems. Decisions are usually based on established precedents and may affect quality and accuracy to a degree. Errors may result in lost time and rework.

Qualifications for the role

  • High School degree plus 2 or more years of related experience in assembly. Alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.
  • Preferred Requirements:
  • Ability to solder.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing and electronic component assembly, wiring.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
