Preferred Qualifications Position Summary This position is responsible for parasite production and maintenance of filarial life cycles. Conducting experiments independently or with minimal supervision. This position will also supervise and train undergraduates in these procedures Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Manual dexterity; Previous laboratory animal, parasitology/entomology experience; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and Graph Pad Prism; Experience using a microscope/dissecting scope Previous management of filarial life cycles; Knowledge of larval migration inhibition assay; Extensive knowledge of experimental design of both in vivo and in vitro experiments with filarial parasites.
