The ideal candidate will have expertise in overseeing garden style, podium, or wrap style projects, ensuring the successful completion of construction projects while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. **Responsibilities:** - Assist the Superintendent in managing all aspects of construction projects, from planning to completion. - Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. - Supervise and inspect construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements. - Monitor project progress and proactively identify and address any issues or delays that may arise. - Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. - Collaborate with the project team to resolve technical and logistical challenges effectively. - Provide leadership and mentorship to construction crews, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence. - Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 3 years of experience in multifamily residential construction, with a focus on garden style, podium, or wrap style projects. - Proven track record of assisting in the successful completion of construction projects on time and within budget. - Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications. - Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make sound decisions under pressure. - OSHA 30-Hour Certification preferred. - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. **Salary Expectations:** The salary range for the Multifamily Assistant Superintendent position is between $75,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
