Assistant Construction Superintendent - Austin, TXThe Assistant Field Superintendent will assist with all aspects of the construction project, including the finishing and turning over of units to management.Job duties: Reports to Lead Super/PMEnsures subcontractors are onsite when scheduledUpdates superiors if subcontractors are not onsiteEnsures finish materials/subs are onsiteUses finish schedule to ensure materials are placed in correct unitsWalks with subcontractors daily to ensure completenessCreates punch lists for subcontractors on finishing units via ProcoreEnsure punch lists are completedPerforms final walks with mgmt.Ensures mgmt. walk lists are completedTurns over keys to mgmt.Assists maintenance staff with new move ins100% in the fieldRequirements: Must be local to Austin, Texas Bachelor's Degree in civil or construction management, preferred.Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising all phases of multifamily, housing or hotel construction experience. Understands and can interpret codes and UL assemblies. Computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project Must be able to read and understand plans and specifications. Great communication skills including verbal and written. Organized and detail oriented. Works well with a team.
