Job Title: Quality Control Lab Technician

Job Description

As a Quality Control Lab Technician, you will be responsible for labeling chemicals correctly, calibrating equipment, pH testing, sampling blends, and testing tablets. You will release blends for packaging and handle various sample preparations in the warehouse and lab. This role involves maintaining laboratory databases, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting quality-related product investigations.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare samples and operate laboratory equipment.
  • Process and analyze experimental data.
  • Maintain and update laboratory databases to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Conduct product performance and field testing.
  • Approve, hold, and/or reject products based on laboratory analysis against specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with current regulatory requirements and GMP guidelines for data reporting and validation protocols.
  • Conduct reexamination of borderline results and research technical literature.
  • Communicate opportunities for process improvements.
  • Manage multiple projects to meet various deadlines.
  • Recommend testing parameters, complete experiments, and project work as assigned.
  • Provide analytical and technical support for quality-related product investigations.
  • Review data for out-of-specification test results and issue SPC charts of historical results.
  • Optimize and recommend lab improvements to support 5S initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • BS in a Scientific Field is preferred but not required
  • 0-1 years of laboratory experience; experience in chemical manufacturing is a plus
  • Experience with sample labeling and quality control lab work is a plus
  • Experience supporting ISO 9001 regulations is a plus
  • Knowledge of PPE, scale usage, pipettes, force gauges, and Near-Infrared Spectroscopy
Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The position involves working in a laboratory and warehouse setting, handling chemicals and various lab equipment. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
