Laboratory Supervisor Job:

Archer Daniels Midland Company is seeking a qualified Laboratory Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our QC laboratory. As a key member of our Quality Control department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all testing and analysis are conducted in accordance with cGMP/GLP standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise laboratory staff to ensure timely completion of tests and projects
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and precision of test results
  • Investigate contamination or procedural deviations, implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Maintain and repair laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with design specifications
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in laboratory management, preferably in a cGMP/GLP environment
  • Strong knowledge of ISO and cGMP standards, including 21 CFR 111 and ISO 17025
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to lift 25 pounds
