About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Specialist to join our team. This position plays a key role in managing both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for numbers, this is the perfect opportunity for you As an Accounting Specialist, you will be a part of a team with shared goals, working together to complete each day’s tasks including but not limited to: Process and manage AR and AP transactions , including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.Verify and enter vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals.Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors/customers to resolve discrepancies.Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Qualifications Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 2 years in AR/AP or general accounting.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.Proficiency in QuickBooks, Concur, and Excel.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
