Senior Technical Accounting Manager
140,000-$160,000 + 15% Bonus
Our client, a global technology and data-driven solutions company, is seeking a Senior Technical Accounting Manager to join its high-visibility U.Markets accounting team. This organization operates at scale, partners with businesses across multiple industries, and is known for strong financial leadership, continuous investment in growth, and a collaborative, people-first culture.

This Senior Technical Accounting Manager will support complex technical accounting matters, partner closely with stakeholders across Finance and Corporate Development, and play an integral role in M&A activity, minority investments, and unique or non-recurring transactions. Unlike traditional close-heavy roles, this position offers meaningful project work, cross-functional exposure, and the chance to directly influence decision-making.
Reporting into a Director within the U.Controller's organization, the Senior Technical Accounting Manager will research and document accounting positions, guide leaders on US GAAP implications, support acquisition integration, and help implement new accounting standards and internal controls.

Prepare technical accounting memos for new or complex transactions and communicate implications to leadership
Support M&A activity, including acquisition accounting, divestitures, investments, audit support, and third-party coordination
Monitor minority investments for operational and cash-flow risks and support related journal entries and reconciliations
Partner with Finance, FP&A, Corporate Accounting, and business leaders on new initiatives and accounting guidance
Assist with foreign statutory audits following recent acquisitions
Contribute to process improvements and technology-driven solutions across the accounting function

7+ years of accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or related field) and active CPA
Public accounting background required (Big 4 strongly preferred)
Deep understanding of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and technical accounting
Hybrid schedule with only 2 required in-office days (Wednesday + your choice of one other)
