Competitive Pay (based on experience and Tech assessment Evaluation) Holiday Pay Paid Vacation Paid PTO Days 401K Plan Retirement Profit Share Plan Opportunities for growth and advancement Excellent benefits package (Medical/Dental/Vision) Schedule flexibility $80 Boot Credit Company Truck Phone Allowance MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES of a Diesel Mechanic Technician: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT Inspections and follow up repairs to Class 6-8 trucks (light and heavy) in a mobile/field environment Diagnose, adjust, and repair various types of truck equipment including, but not limited to the following: Electrical/Brake/Cooling Systems, Starters/Alternators, Air conditioning systems, Fan clutches, Engine electronics, Power steering systems, Engines (gas and diesel), Transmissions (manual and automatic), Clutches, Differentials, etc Use basic hand tools, precision instruments, as well as power tools, welding equipment, and jacks Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in timely fashion Work with a high degree of independence Maintain a high level of productivity and be able to work within or close to most standard repair times Obtain parts from approved local and national vendors as necessary for the repairs to be performed Requirements of a Diesel Technician: 3 + Years of Diesel Mechanic Experience Valid Drivers License required. CDL-A preferred but not required Must provide own hand tools that are adequate to perform job functions Demonstrate ability to work independently, multi-task and apply initiative Excellent organizational skills Excellent verbal communication skills Understand and implement instructions, guidelines, and pertinent information necessary to complete daily tasks and assignments Must be able to move, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. with regularity and up to 100 lbs. on occasion Tired of shop politics, do you want a path for growth?
