You will have the option to work from your own office and positively impact the lives of Veterans during crucial assessments. Job Responsibilities: Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments on a PRN basis. Conduct primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing. Submit reports on examinations completed including any necessary addendums. Complete required training to become DMA certified. Maintain professionalism and adhere to regulations during all assessments. Qualifications: Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products). Current AANP certification required. Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Louisiana. Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine preferred. License & Certification Requirements: Active Nurse Practitioner license in Louisiana (LA). AANP Certification required. Must be willing to become DMA certified.
