About the Company 75+ years specializing in guided auger boring, jack & bore, tunneling, microtunneling, pipe jacking, underground utilities, grading, and site development Strong backlog of specialized infrastructure work and long-standing market stability Family-oriented culture focused on safety, quality, and professional growth Clear internal advancement with mentorship What You'll Do Lead and mentor crews on guided auger boring, jack & bore, tunneling, and underground utility projects Operate and oversee steering head-equipped auger boring machines for precise alignment and grade control Plan resources daily to meet schedules and budgets Manage pipe jacking, auger boring machine setup, steel casing, welding, and tunneling equipment Ensure compliance with confined space and shaft work regulations up to 50 feet deep Maintain safe, organized job sites; coordinate with project managers and inspectors Troubleshoot ground conditions, steering head operations, and equipment issues Train crews in advanced guided boring and auger boring techniques Travel regionally across Georgia and the Southeast as needed What We're Looking For 5+ years guided auger boring with steering head technology and jack & bore experience 2+ years as foreman or crew lead on specialized guided boring projects Expert in steering head-equipped auger boring machines, pipe jacking, steel casing, and tunneling operations Microtunneling experience a plus Blueprint, schematic, and construction plan literacy Knowledge of trenchless construction, confined space safety, and OSHA regulations Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills CDL preferred; OSHA 10/30 certification valued ***Note: Candidates with only traditional jack & bore experience without steering head or guided auger boring expertise will not be considered Pay & Benefits $90,000–$110,000 DOE + performance bonuses Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage 401(k) with company match Company vehicle and allowance PTO + clear path to senior leadership
