Job Duties And Responsibilities Operate commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations and policies adhering to all safety practices Follow receiving schedule and directions from location supervisory personnel to move raw milk trailers Take measures to minimize truck idle times and conserve fuel consumption Complete driver logs, work completion reports and other reports as required Verify proper documentation (Load number/Seal numbers/etc.) to validate load delivery and destination Inspect truck and trailer for damage or broken equipment; promptly report damage or broken equipment Disassemble, clean, and re-assemble trailer pumps to maintain proper cleanliness at a food grade level Comply fully with all FDA regulations governing the sanitary loading, transport and unloading of product Attend all driver workshops and training sessions Use company supported applications or systems properly Represent DFA positively and professionally during interactions with customers, or regulatory personnel The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
