Do you enjoy designing mechanical solutions and seeing your ideas come to life on the shop floor?
TMC Industries is a 30,000 sq. ft. manufacturing and processing facility in Waconia, MN, and we’re looking for a SolidWorks-capable CAD designer who loves turning concepts into real equipment.
You’ll work on custom machinery, piping systems, process equipment, tooling, and process improvements. Create parts, assemblies, and drawings in SolidWorks
Modify or improve existing equipment and 3D models
Opportunity to assist with hands-on assembly, prototyping, or troubleshooting (optional but helpful)
Support process improvements and plant projects
Possibly run distillation trials on new materials
Must have at least a couple years’ experience using SolidWorks in a structured environment
Mechanical aptitude — you think in 3D and understand how parts go together
We’re a small company, so you can have a big impact. In addition to driving CAD you’ll have opportunities to participate in other roles, depending on your interests and aptitudes
Full-time position, Monday–Friday, or part-time for the right person. Flexible schedule and a hands-on environment where you can learn quickly
