Opportunity Highlights Immediate openings for: 1 Daytime Emergency Medicine Physician 2 Nocturnal Emergency Medicine Physicians Future growth anticipated with4"5 new hires in late 2026and5+ in early 2027 Physician-led department with a focus oncollaboration, safety, and sustainability Supportive leadership that prioritizesbalance and respectover volume-driven metrics Schedule & Coverage Minimum 120 hours per monthwith additional shifts available"no cap and all paid equally 12-hour and 10-hour shiftsdesigned for flexibility and lifestyle Rotations between main ED and free-standing ED locations (exclusive FSED coverage may be considered) Main ED staffed daily with5 physiciansand2"4 APPs PIT (Provider-in-Triage) model for efficient patient flow PPH:1.5"1.7 in main ED LWBS: No call requirements"true shift work promoting healthy balance Facilities & Technology Main ED:42 private beds, divided by acuity; no hallway beds or corridor boarding FSED (Socastee):8 beds 3T MRI, CT, ultrasound, full lab FSED (Hwy 22 & 90):12 beds CT, X-ray, ultrasound, full lab Annual volume:50,000 ER visits Support services include: 24/7 intensivist & surgical backup Chest Pain Center & STEMI program with round-the-clock interventional cardiology Level III Trauma Center with Access to da Vinci robotic technology, advanced imaging, and on-site diagnostics Academic environment:ACGME teaching institution"opportunities to teach without mandatory lectures What Sets This Team Apart This team practices emergency medicine the way it should be"centered on patients, teamwork, and clinical autonomy.
