Equipment Maintenance Technician

Technical Source is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our clients pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Indianapolis. Were looking for a skilled professional who can ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of production equipment in a regulated cGMP environment. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing equipment used to produce life-changing pharmaceutical products. Youll work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to minimize downtime, drive operational excellence, and uphold the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, disassemble, install, repair, and replace components for manufacturing equipment.
Maintain accurate documentation, including Maintenance and Calibration Records, in accordance with cGMP standards.
Inspect equipment regularly for wear, irregularities, and potential failures to ensure reliability.
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to maintain compliance and improve equipment uptime.
Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and update the CMMS system accurately and on time.
Maintain tools, parts, and workspaces in compliance with cGMP housekeeping and safety standards.
Required Qualifications:
~35+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance within regulated manufacturing environments.
~ Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
~ Experience performing maintenance in a cGMP environment.
~ Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation.
~ Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
