About the Role We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our EPC team. This role is critical to advancing a sustainable circular economy for lithium-ion batteries by transforming recycled materials into battery-grade components for new production. As a Project Engineer, you will work closely with the Construction Manager, Superintendents, and cross-functional teams from preconstruction through project completion and production start-up. You will take full ownership of assigned construction scopes, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications, managing schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and vendor coordination. Key Responsibilities Manage assigned construction scopes, including scheduling trade contractors, utilities, structures, and vendor installations. Conduct daily meetings with subcontractors/crews to review schedules and resource availability. Analyze shop drawings, design specifications, and material requirements to ensure quality and compliance. Provide technical input for project work plans and schedules; identify risks impacting budget or timeline. Track daily production, schedule, and budget performance; document activities using approved methods. Oversee RFIs, submittals, procurement, and scheduling for assigned scopes. Ensure quality assurance through project specifications review and manage required certificates and inspections. Plan field layout and manage permits; conduct Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and lead weekly safety meetings. Assist estimating team with schedules and provide technical input for design drawings. Coordinate subcontractor work methods and reconcile job close-out checklists. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field required. 5+ years of experience in construction engineering, scheduling, or design. Strong knowledge of cost coding, budgeting, and scheduling processes. Familiarity with construction equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications, and building materials. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build positive relationships. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; proven self-starter. Passion for sustainability and making a positive impact. Direct Placement Roles: Compensation: $140,000 to $160,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
