Job Summary
Halo Technical Solutions Global is seeking a driven, detail oriented Project Engineer to support electrical construction activities across high visibility industrial and data center projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate design, schedule, submittals, RFIs, and field execution to ensure all electrical work aligns with project requirements, owner expectations, and applicable codes. This role requires strong technical understanding, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to planning, coordination, and problem solving within a fast moving construction environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support day to day project engineering activities for electrical and general construction scopes.
- Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs for accuracy, constructability, and compliance.
- Coordinate with contractors, designers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of design and field issues.
- Assist in planning and sequencing construction activities to align with overall project schedules and milestones.
- Track materials, equipment, and long lead items to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
- Maintain project documentation including logs, submittal records, material tracking, as built updates, and change documentation.
- Support quality and safety initiatives by ensuring electrical requirements, code compliance, and project procedures are followed.
- Participate in field walks to verify installation progress and identify potential risks, clashes, or deviation.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, reports, and coordination packages.
- Manage and update completions management systems such as CxAlloy to track readiness, checklists, issues, and turnover status.
- Build and maintain Excel based trackers using advanced functions such as XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
- Develop Power BI dashboards to support visibility of progress, quality, and schedule alignment.
- Create Visio workflows for construction, quality, and commissioning processes to support team clarity.
- Collaborate with site leadership to drive issue resolution, technical alignment, and project momentum.
- Promote and uphold jobsite safety culture and ensure engineering activities support safe execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or related engineering role in electrical or industrial construction.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards (NEC, NFPA, and local requirements).
- Experience supporting electrical installation in production or data center environments.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and engineering documents.
- Understanding of construction workflows including submittals, RFIs, scheduling, QA QC processes, and completions.
- Familiarity with completions management tools such as CxAlloy or similar platforms.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities for working with contractors, designers, and field teams.
- Proficiency with construction software such as ACC, BIM 360, FIELD, PDF markup tools, Visio, scheduling tools, and project management platforms.
- Strong competency in Power BI and advanced Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience Electrical preferred.
- OSHA 10 certification required.
- Employer Identification Number EIN required prior to site mobilization.
- Certificate of Insurance COI including Workers Compensation required prior to site mobilization.
Note: An EIN and COI are required before mobilizing to the jobsite; however, if you don't have these yet, we can help guide you through the process if you meet the qualifications for this role.

Compensation & Details- Job Type: Full-Time (1099 Contract) – 60 hours per week
- Pay: $15,000 – $17,000 per month
- Work Location: Sparks, NV
