Local Division 5 & Division 9 Contractor – Central and West Texas A local, established drywall, steel erection, and painting contractor serving Central and West Texas is seeking an experienced Safety Professional to develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive company-wide safety programs. This is a full-time, salaried position that combines office-based responsibilities with regular travel to active construction sites. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain company safety policies and procedures Create and deliver driver training programs Compile and manage training and maintenance records for cranes, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and company vehicles Conduct annual motor vehicle record (MVR) reviews for all employees Deliver OSHA-compliant training in general construction, steel erection, drywall/metal stud framing, and Hazard Communication (HazCom) Perform regular job-site safety inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations Investigate incidents, maintain required documentation, and implement corrective actions Serve as the primary resource for transportation and general safety compliance Required Qualifications Proven experience in construction safety and transportation safety Formal education, certifications, or equivalent institutional knowledge in occupational health and safety (CSHO, ASP, CSP, or similar preferred) Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1926 Construction Standards Excellent record-keeping, training, and communication skills Ability to travel regularly throughout xrczosw Central and West Texas Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary (commensurate with experience)401(k) with company match Medical Insurance Company Vehicle or Vehicle Allowance Company Provide Cell-Phone Paid Vacation Time Paid Holidays If you have the expertise to lead a growing contractor’s safety program and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of worker protection, you are invited to apply.
