Safety Professional – Divisions 5 & 9Find out more about the daily tasks, overall responsibilities, and required experience for this opportunity by scrolling down now.Local Division 5 & Division 9 Contractor – Central and West TexasA local, established drywall, steel erection, and painting contractor serving Central and West Texas is seeking an experienced Safety Professional to develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive company-wide safety programs.This is a full-time, salaried position that combines office-based responsibilities with regular travel to active construction sites.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain company safety policies and proceduresCreate and deliver driver training programsCompile and manage training and maintenance records for cranes, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and company vehiclesConduct annual motor vehicle record (MVR) reviews for all employeesDeliver OSHA-compliant training in general construction, steel erection, drywall/metal stud framing, and Hazard Communication (HazCom)Perform regular job-site safety inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulationsInvestigate incidents, maintain required documentation, and implement corrective actionsServe as the primary resource for transportation and general safety complianceRequired QualificationsProven experience in construction safety and transportation safetyFormal education, certifications, or equivalent institutional knowledge in occupational health and safety (CSHO, ASP, CSP, or similar preferred)Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1926 Construction StandardsExcellent record-keeping, training, and communication skillsAbility to travel regularly throughout Central and West TexasCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary (commensurate with experience)401(k) with company matchMedical InsuranceCompany Vehicle or Vehicle AllowanceCompany Provide Cell-PhonePaid Vacation TimePaid HolidaysIf you have the expertise to lead a growing contractor’s safety program and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of worker protection, you are invited to apply.Please apply directly or send your resume to yousuf.khan@lumicity.io
