The Cleveland Clinic neurology and neurosurgical services consistently receive high rankings in multiple national rankings related to patient care, education, and places to work./ppThe applicant must be a BC/BE neurosurgeon, preferentially fellowship trained in spine. Surgical volume focuses primarily on complex and routine spine cases. The newly recruited neurosurgeon will participate in combined general neurosurgery/trauma call. Call is on average 1:6 with APP teams providing first call. Additional responsibilities will include clinical care, teaching, and research activities. The Center features fellowship programs in both spine surgery and spine medicine, the former of which is the largest in the United States. In addition to a dynamic, collaborative clinical and surgical practice, the position requires the participation in resident and fellow teaching as well as basic, translational, biomechanical and/or clinical research.
