SmartStart Education seeks an Algebra tutor to work with small groups of high school students Monday through Friday from 8am to 3pm. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, tutors will also work with students for after school sessions between 3pm and 5pm. The high school is located in Dayton, OH .

Applicants are encouraged to schedule interviews as soon as possible to allow ample time to complete onboarding steps. Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any field is mandatory. ***Please note that applications with anticipated graduation dates will not be considered.



Demonstrated experience of at least one year in teaching or tutoring, either within a school environment or another educational setting.



Comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges faced by urban students, schools, and communities, encompassing racial disparity, socio-economic disparity, and cultural disparity.



Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred, although not required.
