Board Builder Freight & Cargo Location: Des Plaines, IL Pay: $18.50/hour Sign-On Bonus: $100 (after working 80 hours) SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Board Builders for a large, well-known logistics client in Des Plaines, IL to work in their Freight & Cargo Division. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced distribution environment and play a key role in shipping, receiving, inventory management, and specialized freight handling. Why Youll Love Working with Us: $100 Sign-On Bonus after 80 hours worked Competitive pay: $18.50/hour Weekly pay (direct deposit or pay card) Health, dental, and vision insurance Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term career potential Generous referral bonuses Shift Available: 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm & 8am-4:30pm) Responsibilities: Operational execution for all warehouse services required of CH Robinson Customers Following all SOPs and procedures Building/netting PMCs Pulling and labeling freight Ensure all manifests, invoices, orders, shipping documentation, and forms are accurate Communicate with Gateway and CCSF supervisors regularly Assist with the screening process once able to do so Know, understand, and follow all warehouse safety requirements Unloading and if needed fixing or rebuilding any freight returned from the airline Understand and comply with all TSA compliance regulations illustrated in the CCSP and IACSSP Assist in maintaining recordkeeping requirements regulated by the TSA Be knowledgeable and follow all policies and procedures Cultivate a positive and innovative work environment Other duties or responsibilities as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years building air boards and working in a CCSF About SURESTAFF At SURESTAFF, we are committed to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
