Job DescriptionJob Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. This full-time School Psychologist role supports multiple schools within the Research Triangle area, including elementary and middle schools, as well as preschool assessment teams. The position runs on a contract basis from ASAP through June 10, 2026, providing evaluation services and IEP meeting participation across diverse student populations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students across assigned schools Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Collaborate with school teams to support student needs and intervention plans Assist with preschool assessments at designated centers Potentially cover maternity leave assignments in March at additional elementary schools Familiarize with and apply knowledge of the districts Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), a strong plus but not mandatory Qualifications/Experience: Active Psychology licensure required, specifically the DOE credential (Department of Education) Experience with school psychology preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply Bilingual Spanish skills highly desirable but not required Ability to complete a background check and fingerprinting within seven days of application submission Flexibility to work 37 hours per week in a contract capacity Location: Positions are based in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina, including schools in Apex and other nearby communities.
