Position: Process Analyst Location: Downtown Chi or Naperville, IL- 3 days a week in office Duration: 9 month contract - extensions possible Hourly Pay Rate: $38-50/hour Start Date: February 23rd Must Haves: 2–5 years experience in process analysis, process improvement, or continuous improvement. Lending experience Proficiency in Visio and/or IBM BlueWorks Live. Strong communication and facilitation skills; able to lead conversations with business stakeholders. Ability to ask questions in multiple ways to uncover root causes. Experience creating clear and structured process documentation. Comfort working in ambiguous, evolving environments. Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams. Plusses: Experience in commercial banking Knowledge of underwriting, origination, loan booking, or TPS. Background in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement. Exposure to service design, target operating models, or cross-border processes. Day to Day: We are seeking Process Analysts/Specialists to support major transformation initiatives within North American Commercial Bank. These roles will partner closely with senior process leaders to analyze, document, map, and improve critical business processes across lending and treasury payment services. This is a hands-on role ideal for process analysts who are strong communicators, comfortable leading conversations, and capable of translating complex workflows into clear, actionable process maps and recommendations. Key Responsibilities Lead stakeholder interviews to understand current processes, pain points, and improvement opportunities. Develop end-to-end process maps using Visio or IBM BlueWorks Live. Support design of future state processes, service models, and operating models. Facilitate workshops, ask probing questions, and uncover root causes. Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities across: Lending lifecycle (origination, underwriting, approval, booking) Portfolio management and ongoing monitoring Treasury Payment Services (TPS) cross-border operations Prepare documentation and materials that support process redesign and change management. Collaborate with senior process leads (Min in Toronto, Amber in Chicago/Naperville). Partner across business and technology teams while maintaining a business-first mindset.
