The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic accounting advice and financial insight, which will contribute to the growth and success of our company. Immediate "Hybrid" Consulting Need Senior Accountant-level for The Woodlands-based Energy company Provide expert financial and accounting advice to clients within the energy sector, with a focus on midstream operations. Perform detailed account reconciliations and rollforwards to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements. Utilize SAP software to streamline accounting processes and enhance financial reporting capabilities. Prepare and submit Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) reports in accordance with regulatory requirements. Work closely with other team members to identify and implement process improvements, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in technology to provide informed and proactive advice to clients. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the energy industry. Extensive experience with account reconciliation and rollforwards. Proficiency in SAP software is essential. Familiarity with midstream operations and FERC reporting requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
