Permanent Gastroenterologist Position in Ashtabula, OH Join our expanding multi-specialty group practice at a well-recognized healthcare facility located in Ashtabula, Ohio. This facility is a fully accredited 186-bed acute care community hospital, an affiliate of the Cleveland Clinic, dedicated to high-quality patient care. Our healthcare team includes over 60 employed providers, with a robust support system in place for gastroenterology services. Job Responsibilities: See 15-20 patients per day (non-negotiable). Provide outpatient gastroenterology and internal medicine services. Work alongside a group of two physicians in a high-volume office practice. Collaborate with an experienced urologist and a fully trained staff with an advanced practice provider. Utilize blocked time in the OR for procedures. Access a fully integrated EMR with the Cleveland Clinic Health System (EPIC). Benefit from a well-defined referral source from employed and affiliated primary care physicians. Utilize onsite lab and X-ray services. Call coverage of 10 days per month. Qualifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology. Ohio medical license (or in the process of obtaining). BLS and ACLS certifications by time of start. Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days). DEA must be obtained prior to starting. Candidate must live within a 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate. Open to J-1 or H-1B visa support candidates. License and Certification Requirements: Valid Ohio medical license. Board certification/eligibility in Gastroenterology. BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
