com to find a qualified Radiology MD in Newton, Kansas, 67114LocumsAbout the FacilityA hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist for locum tenens coverage.About the Facility LocationThe facility is located in Newton, Kansas.About the Clinician's WorkdayThis Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-The position covers all diagnostic radiology modalities plus mammography, including CT, MRI, mammography, ultrasound, plain film, and nuclear medicine. Procedures include ultrasound-guided thoracentesis, paracentesis, liver biopsies, and breast biopsies, though these are flexible and can be postponed as needed; most are performed by a radiology PA under supervision. Typical weekday volume is about 125 studies, including 20-30 CTs, 15-20 MRIs, 20 mammography exams, 15-20 ultrasounds, 40-50 X-rays, and 1-5 nuclear medicine cases.PA generally performs most of these under supervision.Equipment/PACS System:
