Personal Injury Defense Trial Attorney

*At Masiakos, Mercurio & Associates, P.C.,* we are growing again. We are a busy personal injury defense firm in Garden City, NY, and we are seeking another *trial attorney with 4+ years of* *experience* in all phases of personal injury litigation, preferably defense, including motor vehicle, labor law, and premises liability cases. The candidate must be a self-starter, well-organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ensure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application. *Admission to NYS Bar is required.**Duties to include, but are not limited to:** The ability to handle a large caseload from inception to conclusion; * Trial experience is required. * The attorney will be required to appear as necessary in the Supreme and Civil Courts in various counties, including the 5 Boroughs, as well as Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester. * Ability to review and analyze medical records, prepare reports to carriers, and provide verdict and settlement values; * Conducting and defending general liability and motor vehicle accident depositions as necessary. * Drafting discovery and Summary Judgment motions. * Knowledge of TABS-3 Billing program is a plus, but will train; * Proficiency with a computer, Microsoft Outlook, and Word is required. * Salary range is $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 and is commensurate with experience; * Health Insurance is available Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $125,000.00 per year Benefits: * Health insurance * Paid time off Application Question(s): * How many years of civil trial experience do you have?
