Open to full-time or part-time Our client, a well-established company in Wexford, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in accounting, payroll, and financial management.
Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities:
The Bookkeeper will process payroll, including payroll taxes, year-end W-2s, and 1099 forms.
Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
The Bookkeeper will perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
Prepare financial statements and support tax preparation and administration during tax season.
The Bookkeeper will provide HR consultations and general office support, including answering phones.
Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications of the Bookkeeper role:
20+ years of accounting and bookkeeping experience, including running full-cycle payroll and financial operations.
Advanced Excel skills and experience managing spreadsheets for reporting and analysis.
Experience preparing financial statements, managing reconciliations, and supporting tax season activities.
