We're Hiring: Manufacturing Production/Project Engineer | Emporia, KS Location: On-site | First Shift | Industry Leader in Automotive Aftermarket Solutions
Are you a hands-on engineer who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments? Hopkins Manufacturing is looking for a Manufacturing Production/Project Engineer to play a key role in optimizing our processes, enhancing product quality, and supporting the continued innovation of our facilities and operations.
This is more than just an engineering role — it's an opportunity to drive real impact across multiple areas of production, from workstation design to capital project execution.
What You'll Do:
Design safe, efficient workstations and processes for a diverse range of products
Conduct time studies and define accurate labor standards
Support Quality Control with process improvements
Evaluate new technologies to improve cost, efficiency, and scalability
Lead facility upgrades, capital equipment purchases, and layout enhancements
Collaborate across departments and with external vendors to bring ideas to life
What We're Looking For:
BS in Engineering/Technology or 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing experience
Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and adaptability
Experience with plastic injection molding is a strong plus
A mindset for continuous improvement and safety-first thinking
