~We are on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team remotely. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to leverage their accounting skills in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in accounting, particularly with month-end procedures, monthly reporting, fixed assets depreciation, and construction accounting.
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the financial operations of our company. Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
Managing the fixed assets depreciation schedule, ensuring all calculations are accurate and up-to-date.
Handling construction accounting, including cost allocation, capitalization, and depreciation.
Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
Collaborating with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
Identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
Proven experience with month-end procedures, monthly reporting, fixed assets depreciation, and construction accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong in Excel.
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting financial information.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
