Bookkeeper Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 Why This Opportunity Stands Out: Ready to apply Before you do, make sure to read all the details pertaining to this job in the description below. • Hands-on Bookkeeper position in a long-standing, family-owned organization with over 100 years of history • Opportunity to manage both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, with visibility across the entire business • Broad scope of responsibilities spanning accounting, office administration, and operations support • Stable organization with deep roots in food manufacturing and distribution • Collaborative environment where the Bookkeeper works directly with leadership, including the company President • Role offers a chance to modernize processes, streamline workflows, and make a tangible impact on operations • Strong work-life balance with supportive and approachable team culture Key Responsibilities for the Bookkeeper: • Manage and administer daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including collections and deposits • Execute weekly A/P check runs, ensuring timely payments and application of discounts • Oversee inventory management, including quarterly calculations and counts • Assist in purchasing negotiations and execution of vendor contracts • Coordinate logistics for incoming inventory and maintain compliance with company permits and certificates • Provide administrative support, including office communications, vendor relations, and scheduling maintenance services • Liaise with IT and facility vendors; troubleshoot and coordinate with outsourced IT as needed • Support and motivate internal staff while directly assisting leadership on special projects • The Bookkeeper will play a central role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and smooth day-to-day administration Qualifications for the Bookkeeper: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (experience may substitute)• Proven experience in a Bookkeeper , AP/AR, or similar accounting role • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple xrczosw priorities in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency in Excel and comfort with ERP/accounting systems • Detail-oriented and proactive problem-solver who thrives in both independent and team settings • Excellent communication skills for working with vendors, customers, and colleagues across all levels • A successful Bookkeeper will bring both accuracy and initiative, with a collaborative mindset and a hands-on approach This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Bookkeeper to step into a visible, wide-ranging role in a stable organization that values initiative, reliability, and long-term contributions. $60,000 - $70,000
