Senior Plan Analyst Houston, TX 77002 $28.10/hr. M-F 8am-5pm / Contract DESCRIPTION Review water and wastewater applications within taps and meters – infrastructure and development services. Review residential and commercial plans to include impact fee assessment within a web client - in accordance with ordinances, and state laws and regulations, review legal documents, surveys, site plans and plats. daily correspondence with customers regarding the status of their application or plan review. maintain collaboration with other sections, divisions and departments. Will assist in creating reports, standard operating procedures and assist in special projects necessary. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Adobe. Have superb customer service experience via phone / in-person / email. Great writing and critical thinking skills, for document analysis. Able to review surveys, site plans, google earth, GIS / Mapping systems and a problem solver. COMPLEXITY Work consists of standard procedures and tasks where analytic ability is required, in following guidelines, policies and procedures. IMPACT OF ACTIONS Errors in work could lead to moderate expenses and inconveniences. Work is typically performed under moderate to limited supervision with standard operating procedures. The incumbent functions under general review and at times autonomously, with the supervisor available to answer more difficult questions. SUPERVISION EXERCISED Direct Supervision: No direct report employees. Indirect Supervision: No indirect reports. CONTACTS Internal Contacts: Level of internal contact is primarily with professionals and supervisors. Interaction requires moderate tact and cooperation; e.g., scheduling and/or coordinating two personal calendars, resolving problems and/or obtaining necessary information.
