Job Summary: Barber/Stylist - *We offer paid time off, sick pay, bonuses (each pay period, annual and anniversary), special perks such as access to owner's beach condo, training reimbursement and ability to earn extra paid time off.* We need all shifts - weekdays, weekend and weekday afternoon help We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barber/Stylist to join our team. As a Barber/Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients. This includes haircuts, styling, coloring, and other barbering services. If you have a passion for hair and enjoy creating unique looks for clients, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality haircuts and styling services to clients - Perform various barbering techniques such as fades, razor cuts, and beard trims - Recommend and sell hair care products to clients, utilizing upselling techniques - Sanitize tools and workstations to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards - Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair cutting and styling - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction Qualifications: - Valid cosmetology or barbering license - Proven experience as a Barber/Stylist - Strong knowledge of haircutting techniques, including the use of clippers, shears, and razors - Familiarity with salon software for scheduling appointments and managing client information - Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including blowouts, updos, and hair extensions - Knowledge of color theory and ability to perform hair coloring services - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients - Experience working at the front desk of a salon is a plus At our salon, we offer a supportive work environment where creativity is encouraged.
