Perform visual inspections of structural steel fabrication, welding, and bolting in accordance with AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) standards. Conduct material identification, verification, and sampling of unidentified steel. Prepare detailed reports and related documentation following best engineering practices and applicable building codes. Complete all required documentation accurately and within established timelines. Follow and promote safe working practices at all times. Preferred Certifications AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification. ICC Structural Steel & Welding Special Inspector and ICC Structural Steel & Bolting Special Inspector certifications are highly desirable. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of welding inspection experience preferred. Current and active CWI and ICC certifications in good standing. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for completing reports using company templates. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding at construction sites. English language proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) required.
