As a Medical Technologist, you will play a vital role in diagnostic testing and patient care. Performing accurate and timely collection, labeling, and analysis of blood and other specimens using venous or capillary puncture on patients of all ages.
Conducting complex and routine diagnostic lab procedures across multiple disciplines.
Operating and maintaining laboratory instruments and automated systems.
Monitoring and analyzing quality control and proficiency testing data to ensure precision and compliance with CLIA guidelines.
Participating in competency assessments, procedure evaluations, and the onboarding/training of new team members.
Maintaining an organized and clean work environment with adequate inventory and preventative maintenance schedules.
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology preferred
An associate or Bachelor's degree with eligibility for certification as MLT, MT, or CLS is also considered
Must obtain ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or equivalent within 2 years of employment
