Pride Health is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist II to support our client’s team in Dearborn, MI . This is a full-time contract, 13 weeks position with a possibility of extension.
We are hiring a Medical Lab Scientist II to support our client, in their busy, high-volume setting in Dearborn, MI . The role involves performing specimen collection, processing, and analysis, maintaining accurate records, ensuring quality control (QC/QA), troubleshooting, and adhering to CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, and lab safety guidelines. The MLS II will also assist coworkers, participate in training and inspections, and support departmental operations.
Perform specimen collection, processing, analysis, and reporting.
· Ensure accurate documentation for patient testing and proficiency samples.
· Comply with CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, and all laboratory safety standards.
· Complete QC/QA activities, instrument calibrations, and preventive maintenance.
· BS in Medical Technology preferred, OR BS/BA in Biology, Chemistry, or related laboratory science.
· Minimum 2+ year of clinical laboratory experience (high-complexity preferred).
· Job Type: 03 Months (Contract to Hire)
· Pay Range : $46 - $56 hourly
· Shifts: 6:30AM – 03:00PM, Weekend as Needed
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
