Compliance Analyst

COMPLIANCE ANALYST Our client is a financial services company in CT looking for a Compliance Analyst. This is a high-impact role for an experienced compliance professional who thrives in a fast-paced fintech environment. They are a fintech and specialty finance company providing capital solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. This role reports directly to the Chief Compliance Officer. Why Work Here? Established fintech company with rapid growth and innovation $2B+ funded to businesses Strong commitment to compliance and operational excellence Competitive bonus-heavy compensation structure Position Summary: Support the administration of the company's Compliance Management System with primary focus on BSA/AML/CIP/OFAC compliance, monitoring, testing, policy reviews, and training. Key Responsibilities: Review and resolve/escalate OFAC matches and conduct monthly OFAC scrubs and 314a reporting Investigate complaints, Red Flags, and day-to-day compliance monitoring activities Support risk assessments, compliance testing/audits, and external exam responses Assist with policy/procedure updates, state license maintenance, and compliance training administration Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal controls Support internal and external reporting requirements Qualifications: 2-3 years compliance or risk management experience, preferably in lending/financial services Strong knowledge of BSA/AML laws and regulations Bachelor's degree required CAMS and/or CRCM certification preferred Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with changing priorities Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
