Data Center Structured Cabling-Senior Scheduler II

Mortensons Data Center Structured Cabling Team is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Scheduler II with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This individual willperform routine oversight of all planning and scheduling activities.
Locations: Minneapolis HQ or working from a regional office or remote .
Travel: 25%
Provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities
Plan, coordinate, supervise, and direct planning and scheduling activities
Ensure that corporate planning and schedule stands are implemented and that all project related activities comply
Provide oversight and supervision of scheduling team
Coach, mentor, and train field personnel, forepersons, and assistant superintendents
Provide work direction and performance evaluations
Identify hiring needs and participate in hiring, discipline, and dismissal decisions if needed
Develop leadership potential through appropriate task assignments and career growth opportunities
Implement Mortensons Zero Injury Safety Program at project site
Manage open shop and union issues
Bachelors degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field
or equivalent combination of training and experience
Thorough knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company software such as P6 & PowerProject
Thorough knowledge of standard construction practices and project sequencing
Shown ability to exercise creativity and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented problems on complex projects
Basic knowledge of project management, contracts, and buyout
Working knowledge of 4D visual planning methodologies
Basic knowledge of claims avoidance and resolution techniques
Ability to travel may be required based on operating group
for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week)

~ The base compensation range for this role is: $104,600 - $156,900(Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individuals knowledge, skill, and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
