The General Manager (GM) holds full responsibility for business performance, including sales growth, business development, and complete P&L and balance sheet accountability. Operating within a decentralized structure, the GM drives strategy and execution to achieve growth, leveraging the power of the unified EDGE Business System.
Develop and execute both short- and long-term strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets.
Oversee strategic planning, including capital investments, expansion initiatives, and workforce development to support future growth.
Drive continuous improvement in key operational and financial performance metrics.
Foster collaboration across departments—Engineering, Operations, Finance, HR, IT, and Sales/BD —to eliminate silos and strengthen teamwork.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with major customers, strategic partners, and key suppliers.
Partner closely with Sales and Marketing to pursue new business opportunities and leverage Salesforce (EDGE) as a commercial growth tool.
Analyze performance data to generate insights, guide decision-making, and communicate outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
Represent the company externally with customers, partners, community organizations, and potential acquisition targets.
Champion compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
Proven success as a senior business leader (GM, Business Unit Leader, or President) with P&L accountability in a manufacturing environment.
Strong background and network within the Aerospace and Defense industries (experience in mid-mix, high-volume production environments preferred).
Commercially astute at building strong relationships with customers and vendors.
Analytical thinker who can interpret complex data and make sound, informed decisions.
High emotional intelligence (EQ), strong interpersonal skills, and integrity beyond reproach.
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a technical discipline.
MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
