Job Summary The Solutions Architect - Azure will provide customer-facing services to our customers to help them define and oversee cloud-based initiatives. The Solutions Architect - Azure is responsible for helping strategize, architect, and implement various solutions that support SHI customer’s move to the Public Cloud. The Solutions Architect will design and implement enterprise infrastructure and platforms required for cloud computing, analyzing system requirements and ensuring that systems are securely integrated with current applications.
Design and implement Cloud solutions and related technologies including but not limited to, Network Design, Security Architecture, Governance Best Practices and Connectivity.
Perform design and implementation work that may include logical design, I/O design, cloud architecture analysis and design, system migration and systems engineering.
Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert on projects and workshops, overseeing the work of others and being accountable for the outcome of the project.
Develop technical roadmaps for future cloud implementations on Public Cloud platforms.
Plan, manage, and troubleshoot Cloud services deployment.
Perform PowerShell, python and bash scripting for automation, documentation and standardization.
Develop business case analysis on potential project.
Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions.
Engage with SHI sales teams, including front line sellers and customer success managers, to ensure a unified approach to service delivery and client engagement.
Contribute to practice development by identifying areas for growth, leading innovation initiatives, and creating and maintaining practice standards to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Oversee and facilitate the evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards, and provide relevant technology/architecture recommendations.
Stay current with new technologies and frameworks, drive the retirement of legacy solutions/technologies, and recommend adopting new partners or solution components.

Ability to systematically identify, document, and manage the technical needs and specifications of a project by engaging with stakeholders and analyzing business objectives to ensure successful project outcomes - Intermediate
Ability to write, debug, and maintain code in various scripting and programming languages to automate tasks and develop software solutions - Intermediate
Ability to understand and manage various infrastructure components (firewalls, load balancers, hypervisors, storage, monitoring, security) and use orchestration tools to develop comprehensive technical solutions - Intermediate
Extensive experience working on large scale IT projects related to design, deployment and configuration - Intermediate
Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
~Willingness to travel occasionally
~ Deep understanding of system development in cloud environments, including Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
~ Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service and Software as a Service Cloud delivery models and the current competitive landscape
~ Thorough understanding of infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, hypervisor, storage, monitoring, security etc.) and have experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution
~ Experience migrating workloads to the Public Cloud or managing workloads in the Public Cloud

The estimated on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes a base salary and bonus/commissions, are $170,000 - $220,000. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
