Job Title: Retail Sales Associate Job Type: Part-Time/Full Time Employee Pay: $19 - $22.00 per hour (rate based on market and relevant experience) Expected Hours: Varies Job Summary: Join the team at Things Remembered as a Retail Sales Associate, where you'll help create memorable experiences for customers at our holiday pop-up. You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, assisting with product personalization, and supporting daily store operations. This role reports to the Store Manager (on-site) and Winston Regional Management. This is your chance to be part of a brand that celebrates meaningful moments-while driving efficiency, quality, and team performance. This is a seasonal position from approximately September 29th to January 5th, with potential for continued employment with Winston Retail and other projects that may be available. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers, helping them select and personalize products. Operate self-service kiosks and support customers with personalization equipment (Laser and Mechanical Engraving). Drive sales by following company guidelines, sampling products, and actively selling add-ons at the cash wrap. Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on new product assortments. Execute floor sets, pricing, signage, and promotional activities according to company directives. Manage inventory and minimize product waste. Follow quality, sanitary, and safety guidelines, complying with all applicable laws. Ensure a positive brand image through professional presentation and attitude. Ring customer transactions using the POS system and follow proper cash handling procedures. Adhere to all Winston policies and procedures Adhere to all store policies and procedures. All other work-related duties as assigned by Store Management or Winston Regional Management. Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device Smartphones are required for reporting: iOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the lates Experience and Benefits Experience & Skills Previous experience in retail with a record of providing exceptional customer service required Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public relations skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor Experience managing and supporting a team Basic knowledge of POS systems and retail operation Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 30 lbs occasionally, and use ladders.
