Accounting Manager-Credit

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Accounting Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and providing leadership and direction to the accounting team. This role requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, financials, manufacturing accounting, monthly reporting, reconciliation, monthly ledger, and ERP implementation.
Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.
Coordinate and complete annual audits, providing recommendations for improving procedures and systems for initiating corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies.
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Implement and manage ERP systems to streamline and automate financial processes.
Coordinate with the manufacturing department to understand and account for company expenses and revenues.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date reconciliation of all financial accounts.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role.
Expertise in financial reporting, financials, manufacturing accounting, monthly reporting, reconciliation, monthly ledger, and ERP implementation.
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced knowledge of Excel.
Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.
Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
