Investment Banking Associate/Vice President - Middle Market FIG Advisory Location: Chicago, IL Firm Type: Boutique Investment Bank Overview Our client is a highly regarded boutique investment bank with a strong track record of advising companies on strategic and capital decisions. The firm partners with businesses across the financial services sector to deliver tailored solutions in mergers & acquisitions, private placements, and capital structure optimization. They pride themselves on a client-first ethos and long-term relationship building. Key Responsibilities Execute M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side advisory for middle-market and Fortune 500 clients. Support private placement processes, including raising debt and equity capital and identifying appropriate capital partners. Conduct financial modeling, valuation analyses, and deal structuring to maximize client outcomes. Collaborate with senior bankers to develop strategic recommendations and present to C-suite executives. Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, accounting, and other third-party advisors. Qualifications 3+ years of investment banking experience (M&A or capital markets focus preferred). Strong technical skills in financial modeling and valuation. Excellent communication and client management abilities. Experience in financial services sectors is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA is a bonus.
