Sign-On Bonus: Join our team and receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus Primary Purpose: We are hiring for various manufacturing and production roles in aerospace. Qualified candidates will have the chance to discuss the specific roles they are interested in during the application process. Our facility is located in Chittenango, NY, where multiple shifts are available. We will provide comprehensive training, so all we ask is that you bring a positive attitude, a collaborative spirit, and a willingness to learn. Note: Candidates selected for employment must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check. What You'll Be Doing: Inspecting, cleaning, sorting, resizing, and weighing virgin wax in preparation for the injection and assembly process. Weighing and preparing slurry mixtures for creating ceramic molds. Building and deconstructing crucibles used for melting metals. Preparing molds for the pouring of melted alloys. Using advanced automation robots to assemble molds and prepare for the casting process. Employing NDT technology to X-ray parts for internal defects. Utilizing various machinery including computers, automation robots, metal shears, and hydraulic presses. Collaborating in a team environment, multitasking, and occasionally guiding colleagues. Adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED. Experience: No prior experience required, training will be provided. Previous manufacturing or mechanical experience is a plus Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are necessary. Certifications: Forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory. Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively with team members, engineers, and management. Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic and familiarity with measuring tools. Reasoning Ability: Capability to solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations and follow written, oral, and diagram instructions. Reliability: Commitment to being reliable, working overtime when necessary, and being dedicated to the Chittenango, NY facility. Working Conditions: Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts. Physical tasks may include lifting, reaching, and manipulating materials. Repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and arms is expected.
