Overview Join to apply for the Trust & Estates Senior Tax Manager role at Platform Accounting Group . Due to continuing growth, our team is seeking a Senior Tax Manager with a strong background in Estate & Trust work. In addition to the traditional roll-up your sleeves tax review and client advisory, the role requires a strong sense of entrepreneurship, strategy, and management. We rely heavily on our local leadership team in each office to develop and execute the firm's vision. As a CPA for the Trust & Estate team, you will have a unique opportunity to collaborate with a growing team of professionals with the needed expertise to accomplish client goals. What you will do and how you will contribute to the firms growth and client service is described below. What you will do Review and prepare complex Estate & Trust returns and court accountings Estate & Trust planning including analysis of estate and trust documents Lead the firm\'s consulting and advisory efforts in the region Work with and support the firm\'s Director in leading and managing the local team Become a primary point of contact for both new clients and clients from retiring partners Work with the firm\'s executive team and Director to develop and execute the firm\'s growth initiatives, product, and services offering and operational strategies What we look for 8+ years of experience in public accounting, ideally with a strong background in the Estate & Trust field Bachelor\'s degree required; Masters degree preferred CPA or EA certification required Direct experience managing staff and client relationships Excellent communication and attention management skills Proprietor mentality and work ethic Entrepreneurial minded with an interest in strategy and operations What we offer Market-leading base compensation Commissions for new client growth Paid medical benefits and 401(k) Autonomy to lead and manage the office in a way that promotes overall wellness for yourself and employees Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries Accounting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Platform Accounting Group by 2x Get notified about new Senior Tax Manager jobs in San Diego, CA . #J-18808-Ljbffr
