Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for construction? We are seeking a dedicated Construction Office Administrator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be the backbone of our office operations, ensuring smooth financial and administrative processes.
ALAS-CO General Construction Inc. is a reputable construction company located in Anchorage, Alaska. The company specializes in providing quality construction services. As a key player in the construction industry within the region, Alas-Co is known for its commitment to excellence and delivering projects that meet clients' expectations.
Manage weekly payroll processing for all construction staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Prepare and submit certified payroll reports in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Oversee accounts payable, including invoice processing, vendor relations, and payment scheduling.
Maintain comprehensive filing systems (digital and physical) for projects, vendors, employees, and general office records.
General office duties, answering phones.
Provide general administrative support to the construction management team.
Proven experience in an office administration role, preferably within the construction industry.
Strong understanding and experience with payroll processing and accounts payable.
Familiarity with certified payroll requirements (e.g., prevailing wage projects).
Proficient in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, especially SAGE 100) and comfortable learning new systems.
