About the Role We’re looking for a Business Litigation Associate Attorney who can handle matters independently, thinks strategically, and brings a client-first mindset to every interaction. This role is 100% remote , outside of required court appearances, and is ideal for someone who wants autonomy, minimal office chatter, and a deep focus on practicing law at a high level. What You’ll Get Fully remote flexibility (with required in-person court appearances as needed) Unlimited PTO Health insurance Paid malpractice insurance, CLEs, and professional membership fees Competitive compensation : $110,000 – $160,000 depending on experience, plus bonus opportunity No billable hour requirement Full-time legal assistant/paralegal support Minimal meetings – just a quick daily check-in, weekly case review, and a monthly virtual team lunch Flexible working hours (our core hours are 9:30 am – 5:30 pm, but we're results-focused, not clock-focused)401k What You'll Do Handle business litigation cases with a high level of independence and strategic oversight Provide responsive, thoughtful legal counsel that reflects the client’s unique goals Draft and review legal documents (contracts, pleadings, motions, briefs, settlements) Conduct legal research and represent clients in court hearings and proceedings Proactively manage xrczosw deadlines and identify potential issues before they become problems Collaborate with our team in an environment built on trust, shared ownership, and constant improvement Qualifications JD from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in Virginia (DC and/or Maryland a plus)3–5 years of litigation experience (ideally at a mid-sized or large firm) Experience handling litigation matters independently, from pleadings to resolution Excellent research, writing, and communication skills Familiar with tech tools like Zoom, Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint), Adobe, and Clio Must live in the DMV area and be willing to travel for court appearances and depositions as needed This role is ideal for a lawyer who wants to practice with excellence, serve with heart, and grow with purpose — all in a flexible, high-performing environment.
