Opportunity: General Manager The Annapolis Waterfront Hotel is seeking a dynamic, operationally savvy General Manager to lead our team in the heart of Maryland’s historic capital. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing hotel operations to maximize profits and achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction. You will lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse team, cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. This role requires a leader who can balance the guest experience with strong financial performance, ensuring the property remains a premier destination in the Annapolis market. Your Growth Path Area General Manager - Regional Director of Operations – Vice President of Operations Your Focuses Leadership Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse team, cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Set clear expectations and provide the guidance necessary to achieve exceptional performance. Guest Experience Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by overseeing the implementation of service standards, personalized experiences, and swift resolution of any issues. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance guest interactions and exceed expectations. Financial Performance Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue, optimize expenses, and achieve budgetary goals. Monitor financial performance through regular analysis and implement corrective actions as needed. Operational Excellence Maintain a seamless and efficient operation by overseeing all aspects of the hotel, including front office, housekeeping, and maintenance. Implement best practices to uphold quality and safety standards. Employee Development Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development, empowering team members to excel in their roles and advance within the organization. Your Background and Skills Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Hospitality or a related field. Previous hotel management experience required.
