As we continue to scale our US business, we are hiring a Learning & Development Consultant to be based in our Phoenix office and support the growth and development of our US recruitment teams.
This role is designed for an experienced 360 recruiter who has trained, coached, or mentored within their team and is now looking to make a formal move into Learning and Development. We are looking for someone who understands recruitment inside out, enjoys developing others, and wants to step away from fee earning to focus on building high-performing consultants.
You will be the face of Learning and Development in Phoenix, working closely with our UK-based L&D team while owning the day-to-day training, coaching, and development of our US recruiters.
As Learning & Development Consultant, you will lead the delivery of our consultant development programmes in Phoenix and across the wider US business. Your focus will be on accelerating performance, reducing time to first fee, and embedding consistent best practice across sales behaviours, business development, and candidate management.
This is a hands-on role that combines workshops, one-to-one desk coaching, programme delivery, and close collaboration with managers and directors. You will play a key part in helping new recruiters build strong foundations while also supporting experienced consultants to continue developing their skills.
Providing one-to-one desk coaching and mentoring to drive performance and confidence
Delivering practical, engaging workshops focused on recruitment fundamentals, business development, candidate management, and offer processes
Acting as a trusted partner to managers and directors, advising on development needs and performance gaps
Supporting recruiters with day-to-day challenges and helping them apply training directly on desk
Monitoring progression, engagement, and performance to support retention and ramp-up
Collaborating closely with the UK Learning and Development team to ensure alignment with global training strategy
Adapting training content to reflect the US market and the specific needs of the Phoenix office
Supporting ad hoc projects including culture initiatives and broader business improvement work
Ideally 3 to 5 years’ experience as a high-performing 360 agency recruiter
A strong track record in recruitment, with experience mentoring, training, or coaching others within your team
A genuine interest in moving away from recruitment into a dedicated Learning and Development career
Confident, engaging, and credible when delivering training to groups and individuals
Commercially minded, with the ability to translate recruitment experience into practical development for others
Passionate about helping others succeed and develop their careers
